TC-808 Jet Black Polyurethane Casting Resin
TC-808 Jet Black is a fast-setting, rigid polyurethane casting resin that is pre-pigmented black, producing a consistent jet black casting without the need to add pigment. With a very low mixed viscosity of approximately 200 cPs, TC-808 Jet Black flows easily into moulds and fine details, making it an excellent choice for model making, prototypes, reproductions, props, special effects and small production castings. Once cured, TC-808 Jet Black produces an opaque black casting with a Shore 78D hardness and a tough, thermoplastic-like feel. Its rapid cure allows many castings to be de-moulded in under 30 minutes, making it particularly useful when multiple parts need to be produced quickly.
TC-808 Jet Black mixes 1:1 by weight, making small batches straightforward to measure. Its short 2–2.25 minute working time means your mould, tools and materials should be prepared before mixing. TC-808 Jet Black can also be poured in stages or rotationally cast where required, as freshly mixed material readily bonds to itself. It is generally insensitive to moisture during and after cure, although good polyurethane handling and storage practices should always be followed.
Also available in White as TC-808.

Important Processing Information
TC-808 Jet Black is a very fast-setting polyurethane, so we recommend having your mould, mixing containers and tools ready before combining Parts A and B. Once mixed, you will have approximately 2–2.25 minutes of working time at 25°C.
*De-mould time will vary depending on the size and thickness of the casting. While TC-808 Jet Black generally reaches a demouldable state within 10–20 minutes, thin sections may require considerably longer in the mould. Sections less than approximately 3 mm (1/8″) thick may require an hour or more before de-moulding.
Part B should be thoroughly remixed before each use until it is uniform in appearance. Polyurethane components are sensitive to moisture during storage, so containers should be kept tightly sealed and exposure to humid air minimised.
Always refer to the Technical Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet before use.
