Use the Alumilite Art Dye kit to add colour to your casting resins! Dyes can be used in clear resins for translucent castings, with epoxy coating systems for dynamic coatings, or in opaque resins for solid bold colours. You can use these dyes to create realistic-looking natural stone, artistic flairs, or mimic anything from your DIY dreams when creating epoxy projects. These dyes are perfect for exotic pours and many styles of epoxy marble, granite, and quartz countertops. The Alumilite dyes are colourfast and UV stable. Our assorted resin colours can make your creations brilliant while staying crystal clear (except the Opaque dyes). Simply blend them to achieve your custom colours. Still, you should always use the smallest amount to achieve the desired effect and check the colour.
The Alumilite Art Dye Kit includes: Translucent colours in Green*, Yellow, Red, Blue and Violet. Opaque shades in Black, White, Flo Red, Flo Yellow and Flo Green. Each bottle is 1 fluid ounce (29.6ml).
*Note that Green translucent dye is not compatible with epoxy chemistry and will shift to a blue colour. This is due in part to chemistry, but also shift in hues (yellowing) over time of epoxy, causing changes in colour. Please conduct a test with the resin you intend to use to ensure the result meets your requirements.
