Alginate

Alginate is a fast-setting moulding powder ideal for life casting hands, faces, body parts and dental impressions. Designed to capture fine detail with excellent surface accuracy, alginate is widely used for keepsakes, special effects and educational applications. As a temporary mould material, casts should be poured shortly after setting for best results. Skin-safe and easy to use, alginate is commonly supported with plaster bandages to create a rigid case mould.
