T51 Catalyst
The T51 Catalyst is the curing agent supplied for use with WACKER ELASTOSIL® M 4503 RTV-2 silicone rubber. When mixed with M4503 at the recommended ratio, T51 initiates the condensation-curing reaction, allowing the liquid silicone to cure at room temperature into a flexible, durable silicone rubber.
T51 is ideal for mould-making applications using M4503, including moulds for casting plaster, gypsum, resin, wax and other compatible materials.

Mixing Ratio
Add 7.5% T51 Catalyst by weight to WACKER M4503 silicone rubber.
Accurately weigh the required amount of catalyst and mix thoroughly into the silicone, taking care to scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing container to ensure an even cure.
Important Information
T51 Catalyst is intended to be used as part of the WACKER M4503 silicone system. Cure times and working times can be affected by temperature, humidity, catalyst concentration and the size of the mixed batch.
