Supercast is a two-component rigid urethane casting compound. It cures to approximately Shore 70D and is tan in colour. Supercast is rapid setting and demonstrates more flexibility than other similar materials. Supercast is compatible with a wide range of fillers and can reproduce intricate detail as a result of its low viscosity. The system is easy to process with a 1:1 mix ratio and has a low setting exotherm temperature of only 77°C. Supercast can be demoulded in 10-30 minutes which allows fast production of parts. It is commonly used for pattern and foundry tooling, architectural models, model kits, collectibles, masters and prototypes, movie props, mirror/picture frames & ornamental mouldings, decorative components.
