Super Sculpey® Firm is the answer to many sculptors’ desire for a clay they can carve, tool and detail with none of the blurring and bending found in softer polymer clays. Super Sculpey Firm™ offers the flexibility and strength you need. You can carve it with outstanding detail, and it remains pliable. The gray color shows all the details in your creation. When a project involves making tiny features, this blend is the right choice.

What is the difference between Super Sculpey Medium™ vs. Firm? Artists appreciate the firmer clay because it holds its shape well. While softer clay can be easier to work with, you often need a firm type to ensure all the details you’ve made stay in place. Super Sculpey Firm™ also photographs well, making it easy for both sculptors and photographers to see even the tiniest detail and, when necessary, catch it on film. When you work with Super Sculpey® Firm, you will notice in an instant how firm it is. In fact, it’s the firmest polymer clay we offer, which makes it an excellent choice if you prefer clay that’s more solid, both before and after baking.
