  • ✓  Excellent air release — minimal bubbles, clean finish every time
  • ✓  UV resistant — resists yellowing over time
  • ✓  Works over wood, canvas, concrete — versatile across surfaces
  • ✓  Barnes-formulated since 1986 — trusted by Australian resin artists

Common Questions

What is Epoxyglass used for?
Resin art, tabletop coatings, bar tops, canvas pours, jewellery trays, and any project where you need a thick, glass-clear surface finish.

What is the mix ratio?
2 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume. Same as Epoxycast — simple to measure at home.

How thick can I pour?
Recommended up to 6mm per coat for coating applications. For thicker builds, apply in multiple layers, allowing each coat to gel before the next.

Will it yellow over time?
Epoxyglass has UV resistance built in. For pieces in prolonged direct sunlight, a UV-stabilised topcoat is recommended.

How long does it take to cure?
Tack-free in 8–12 hours. Full cure in 72 hours at room temperature. Avoid heat or cold during cure.

Can I add pigments and inks?
Yes — works with Barnes Glitz powder pigments, alcohol inks, mica powders, and glitter. Add to the resin component before mixing with hardener.

Is Epoxyglass the same as Epoxycast?
No. Epoxyglass is a coating resin designed for surfaces — it self-levels and delivers a high-gloss top coat. Epoxycast is a casting resin for filling moulds. Different formulas for different applications.

Does Barnes deliver Australia-wide?
